The Ability Center manages in one place what the Agent can use: Skills tell the Agent how to complete a kind of work, and plugins add tools, Workspace panels, or background programs to the Agent. Select Abilities in the left navigation to open it.

Where Skills come from
Each Skill card shows its source: built-in, StablEdge library, third-party library, Enterprise, bundled with a plugin, uploaded by a user, or created by the Agent.
Installing a Skill
Skills from every source install through the single Skill installer: it checks the content, the files, and the risks first, and installs into the current account once you confirm.
- In the Ability Center select the install button in the top right corner to open the installer. Its label follows the category: under Skills it reads Install Skill, and under All it reads Install ability.
- Choose a source:
- Choose folder: pick a folder that contains one or more Skills;
- Choose ZIP: pick a Skill package;
- In HTTPS or Git address, fill in a download address or a GitHub repository address.
- Select Preview. The installer lists the candidate Skills, the file list, and risk notices. A Skill with scripts or executable files is marked high-risk; check the content before installing.
- Pick the Skill to install and select Confirm install.
An installed Skill appears under the Skills tab. Open its card to view files and change the custom name, and to Enable, Disable, or Uninstall it.
Third-party libraries
StablEdge offers a channel to the skills.sh third-party library, but does not install it for you.
- Go to Abilities › Ability Center › Skills, set the source to Third-party library, and select Install third-party library.
- Once installed you can search skills.sh and install individual third-party Skills.
Selecting Uninstall third-party library only closes this source; Skills already installed are kept.
Using a Skill in a chat
- Type
#in the input box and pick a Skill to insert it; - Or select Abilities above the input box and pick a Skill.
When you do not pick one explicitly, the Agent still chooses a suitable enabled Skill for the task.
Enterprise Skills
The Enterprise tab lists the Skills your Enterprise publishes that are visible to you.
- Each Skill shows a status: Installed, New version available, Not installed, or Disabled.
- For an installed Enterprise Skill you can choose an Update policy: Update automatically, Update manually, or Pin version.
- When the list is slow to update, select Refresh Enterprise catalog.
- The publishing entry is the Enterprise publish row in the Skill details dialog; it is visible only when you use an Enterprise account, and whether you may publish depends on your Enterprise settings.
After your Enterprise withdraws a Skill, the local record is cleaned up at the next sync.
Plugins
Plugins can bring the Agent Skills, Workspace panels, and background programs (Worker).
- Find the plugin under the Plugins tab and select Install plugin or Install and enable.
- Open the plugin details and read Included contents: which Skills, Workspaces, Workers, and permissions it brings. Permissions can be withdrawn at any time.
- Under Access method choose:
- On demand: it joins a chat only after you turn it on for that chat;
- Always-on: it joins automatically on every turn.
In a chat, select Abilities above the input box to add a plugin to this chat or remove it.
When you uninstall a plugin you can tick Keep derived indexes, caches, and logs (useful when you reinstall later). To develop plugins of your own, see Plugin Development.
